Faneuil Hall

This fall, I was in Boston, Massachusetts visiting my daughter and needed to find a place to paint. I had been to Turkey recently and wanted to find a similar site as the Spice Market and thought of Faneuil Hall. One thing lead to another and another till I find myself totally immersed in capturing the daily life of Faneuil Hall. My work can be found in a new store that opened in May, “Local Collection“at Faneuil Hall.  Please visit it.  There are 30 local artisans selling their wares in the store.

It’s official!  I can now proudly say that I am the official “Resident Artist” for Faneuil Hall.  The end of July I will be selling my first eco-friendy shopping bag at Local Collection.  Rami Salami The Clown, is the first painting we chose to be displayed on the bag. My intention is to produce a bag of a particular painting in limited numbers.  I am excited to see how they will be received in the marketplace.   My website will also be able to sell the shopping bags and prints that are sold at Faneuil Hall as well.

Fall of 2011 I will be having an exhibit of the paintings of Faneuil Hall at Faneuil Hall (that’s a mouth full).   Priscilla Whitley-Mathews and I are teaming up to publish a table top book of the paintings, interviews of the people and interesting stories and facts of Faneuil Hall,  the book will be available then too.

I hope you enjoy my journey through art. Where this will take me is still an unknown but very exciting!
